Submissions

To submit a manuscript, authors must first create an account or log in to the journal’s online submission system.

First-time authors must contact Computer Support at support.sportizdravlje@ffvis.ues.rs.ba and provide:

  • Full name
  • Affiliation (with institutional link, if available)
  • ORCID iD
  • Email address

Login credentials will then be provided for secure access to the submission platform.

The submission process includes:

  1. Selecting the manuscript type
  2. Completing the submission checklist
  3. Entering authors, affiliations, title, abstract, keywords, and metadata
  4. Providing funding information, conflict of interest statement, and ethical statements, where applicable
  5. Adding editor comments, if needed
  6. Uploading the blinded manuscript and additional files
  7. Confirming the automatically generated PDF review version
  8. Uploading supplementary files
  9. Final verification and confirmation

Submissions sent by email will not be processed.

Submission checklist

Before uploading, authors must ensure that:

  • the manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere
  • all files are prepared in acceptable formats
  • the submission file is blinded and contains no author identifiers
  • all figures and tables comply with the journal requirements
  • a signed Authors Statement Form is ready for upload
  • ethical standards and conflict of interest requirements are met

File size limits

  • Main manuscript: maximum 80 MB
  • Supplementary files and figures: maximum 20 MB per file

Accepted file formats

  • Manuscript: DOC, DOCX, RTF, ODT
  • Figures: EPS, TIFF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP
  • Supplementary documentation: PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, ODT

All files must be clearly named and must not contain author identifiers unless explicitly required by the Editorial Office.
